AsCury is a Brazilian handbag brand rooted in craftsmanship, texture and handmade processes.
Created in Minas Gerais, each piece is developed through embroidery and manual techniques carried out by artisan women who transform time, thread and memory into contemporary objects.
Our work combines Brazilian sensibility with sophisticated design, creating bags that feel both tactile and timeless.
The handmade process
Every AsCury bag is handmade through a slow and detailed process. From embroidery to finishing, each piece carries the marks of human hands, making every bag unique.
Current Collection
Origins is a collection that translates the essence of AsCury through embroidery, memory and emotional references from Minas Gerais. Divided into three drops, the collection moves through landscapes, stories and Brazilian geometries.
A collection about roots, texture and the time carried by human hands.
Inspired by the iconic trees that color Brazil and Minas Gerais.
Inspired by Maria Eugência, the atelier matriarch.
Inspired by the hydraulic tiles of Brazilian architecture.
Mineirais is a collection inspired by the stones and minerals found in Minas Gerais and across Brazilian landscapes. Each bag is created through the relationship between embroidery, color and materiality, translating the energy, depth and natural beauty of minerals into contemporary handcrafted pieces.
Textures, earthy tones and embroidered details transform each bag into an emotional object inspired by Brazilian nature.
The Five Elements
Created in collaboration with Recorda, a Brazilian brand known for handcrafted rope bags, this collection brings together rope, embroidery and artisanal memory. Inspired by the five elements — water, air, earth, fire and art — each bag features hand-embroidered charms representing landscapes, atmospheres and emotional symbols connected to Minas Gerais culture.
The fifth element, art, represents the hands, time and manual gestures that shape the entire collection.
Slow Craftsmanship
"We believe in small-scale production, human-centered processes and timeless design."
Our pieces are created slowly, respecting craftsmanship, materiality and the people behind each creation.
